i really REALLY love clarke and raven’s expressions in this scene like
shit’s getting real and it’s this little micro-moment of “oh fuck /we’ve/ got to handle this” solidarity which is a fantastic otp moment in itself
but then if you take their expressions and apply them to modern AU scenarios it gets 10x better
“hey clarke it’s octavia i just wanted to let you know that the wall between our bedrooms IS in fact paper thin and also is raven staying for breakfast?”
“hey clarke, me again, you know i love you and i’d do anything for you but i’ve just slipped on raven’s bra for the 3rd time this week please. go. to. her. place.”
“hey clarke you know how we kept arguing over whether or not you could see into our apartment from the parking lot? well, i was right, and i’m judging raven for the tattoo she has on her ass”
“hey clarke it’s bellamy, you remember that cute brunette we met at the club last week? well i was thinking about calling and asking her out, do you think she’d be into it?”
you know its getting kind of tiring that allth ese posts that say they want more from tje 100 always end up excluding lexa or saying they don't want more of her
You know what else is tiring? Having most of my favourite characters that have been here since the beginning sidelined for a guest star. You know what else is tiring? The writers talking about her 90% of the time and neglecting other important main characters. You know what else is tiring? The media devoting also 99% of their time to her or to Clarke/Lexa and forgetting about excellent characters like Raven, Bellamy and Monty who did so many great things this season, even when their screentime was cut short to cater to a guest star.
Mostly, you know wants tiring? People acting like they’re owed an apology if someone makes it clear they don’t like Lexa.
Some people don’t like Lexa or are tired of hearing about her. It’s our prerogative. As long as people aren’t flinging around homophobic or mysoginistic things to defend why they don’t like her, LET THEM. Everyone is here to blog for themselves first and foremost, and if they’re not allowed a measly opinion like “I’m tired of hearing about Lexa and getting my faves sidelined for her” without getting attacked, then what’s the point? If you don’t like seeing things like this there’s a myriad of options: blacklist, mute and even the unfollow button. No one’s keeping you here captive.
